| Thanksgiving Day Structure Fire |

Districts 47, 42, 56 (Landingville, Deer Lake, Orwigsburg) and Sch. Haven Liberty Fire Co were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 106 Woodland Dr. in South Manheim Twp. Chief 47 (Hoffman) arrived on scene to find a working structure fire and requested his 1st alarm Tanker Task Force. Within minutes Chief 47 requested his 2nd alarm TTF be dispatched also due to the location. Districts 34 Stations 1 & 2, 39, 55, 37, 53, 58 Station 1 (Friedensburg, Summit Station, Auburn, New Ringgold, West Penn Twp, Mount Carbon, Pine Grove HH&L) were dispatched to assist. District 56 & 42 set up a tanker fill site at the Auburn Boat Dam & at Meadow Dr. & Deiberts Valley Rd. Squad 726 was requested to respond to fill air bottles. The blaze is under investigation by Chief 47 & a State Police Fire Marshal. Video located in the Media Section. |
