Unknown Type Fire in 1st Due
Mon, May 20th, 2013 8:44:00 am - Both stations out of the township were dispatched for an unknown type fire. Asst. 34 (Krause) signed on air and was advised that a person walking heard a loud explosion and then saw heavy black smoke coming from the area of Moon Hill Rd and Dohner Rd. Fire Alarm in Wayne Twp.
 
Sun, May 19th, 2013 4:38:00 pm - As the crew was returning from Kids Day at the Schuylkill County Fair Grounds. Both stations were alerts of an Automatic Fire Alarm on Papoose Dr. in Wayne Twp. Squad 34 was on the road immediately and arrived on scene with Chief 34 (Zimmerman) with nothing showing. Chief 34 was met with the homeowner who had burnt food on the stove. Utilities Investigation in Wayne Twp.
Sat, May 18th, 2013 9:11:00 am - As members from 34-2 were preparing to get ready to assist 34-1 with their annual hose and barrel tournament, a call came in for an utilities investigation in the 200 block of Moon Hill Rd. Fire Company Receives 2nd FEMA Grant
 
Tue, Apr 23rd, 2013 6:17:00 pm - The fire company has been awarded a FEMA grant to replace our aging brush truck.  The grant for $134,000 was awarded Friday, April 19th.  The award was the 2nd in less than a month.  The company also received a $19,500 on March 22 for the replacement of our air bags and for more stabilization equipment.  We would like to thank John Sly our grant writer ...Continued

Tanker Due to South Manheim Twp.
Sun, Apr 7th, 2013 12:53:00 pm - Station 2 was dispatched as part of a 1st alarm Tanker Task Force under a 39 box on Woodland Drive. Tanker 34-36 sign on air immediately. Brush Fire in South Manheim Twp.
 
Sat, Apr 6th, 2013 3:51:00 am - Both houses from the 34th District (Friedensburg & Summit Station) were dispatched to Aspen Drive in S. Manheim Twp. for a brush fire along with District 39 (Auburn). Chief 39-01 arrived on scene with a pile of wood burning with small amount of brush around it burning. Brush 34-47 arrived first and began working the perimeter to stop the fire from spreading. Wed, Apr 3rd, 2013 2:29:00 pm - This afternoon tones were dropped for Tanker 34 along with units from 42,39,47,55, Sch. Haven Liberty for their tankers and brush units for a brush fire on Lake Front Drive in West Brunswick Twp.
