2 Med Assists & Public Service for Wednesday
Wed, Feb 3rd, 2016 7:42:00 am - Attack 34 started the morning off with a medical assist in the township for a cardiac arrest.  Attack arrived with Schuylkill EMS.  Then at 17:57 firepolice were needed to assist PSP & Penn Dot on a flooded roadway.   After returning from the firepolice run attack 34 was dispatched to assist EMS on the north side of the township. ...Continued

Mon, Feb 1st, 2016 10:32:00 am - At 10:32 Tanker Co 34 was hit for the 1st alarm tanker task force for Company 42 for a working apartment building fire at the former Swiss Chalet.  Then at 11:29 Squad Co 34 was dispatched to assist with manpower at the fire.  The Squad Co with 5 went to work opening up walls to find hidden fire. Carbon Monoxide Activation in the 34 Box
Sun, Jan 10th, 2016 10:51:00 pm - At 22:52 Squad 34was alerted for a carbon monoxide detector activation in the 200 Block of Hatchet Cv.  Squad 34 arrived under comman of Lt Witman. Crew checked house and found 50 ppm of carbon monoxide.  Crew traced the malfunction back to the coal furnace. Squad Crew shut down the coal stove and advised  homeowner to call service technician.  Squad Co vented the structure and ...Continued

Sat, Jan 9th, 2016 8:10:00 am - At 08:10 34 Station 2 & 1 were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm in the 400 block of Wynonah Dr.  Chief 3406 arrived and had nothing showing from the exterior.  Squad 34 arrived with 5 went in the building to investigate.  Captain 3495 and his crew found nothing. Crash w/ Confinement in the 34 Box
Wed, Jan 6th, 2016 11:34:00 pm - At 23:34 Eng 34 & Squad 34 were due for an accident with entrapment in the 100 block of Stone Mountain Rd in Wayne Twp.  Chief 3405 arrived right behind Eng 34 & confirmed 1 vehicle on its driverside with 1 patient confined to the vehicle but not injured.  Personnel removed windshield for patient to come out.  Squad 34 cleared & Eng 34 remained onscene ...Continued
